God's country. :)

These are a few pictures of the area where my sister Rose and I grew up. It's difficult to make a living in that part of the country because there's no industry so therefore no good paying jobs. However, I would love to go back there to live after my daughter completes college but I suppose a lot of what I do will be determined by what my daughter does.

Of course these look real good to me. Funny thing, I have a photo of about the same exact view as your top one.

I see images around our country side like these.. but just around corners or over hills are towns... I like you name for the place... we have an area near where I grew up that is known as 'Gods Little Acre'.. Seems that folk were more content back then.

I feel home sick my self now Neal... but homesick for the past. ;o)

Me again Neal..
Just read your comment on my post and we sound so much alike in many ways... we to were poor and times must have been hard but I think we felt love and safe back then.. the world was safe back then as well. I do not think it is a bad thing to look back on those times and indeed want to relive them in some way.. it tells me that you have values.. old fashioned to some but important non the less.
I know others that feel like this also. ha! we are not alone.. ;O)

All the best my friend
Tom
